Dearborn is holding community listening events throughout June to gather input from residents on the Master Land Use Plan, which will guide the city’s development over the next decade. The sessions are part of the Plan Dearborn Community events initiative aimed at including public feedback in the planning process. The updated Master Land Use Plan will address development strategies, green infrastructure, and transportation.
As per the City of Dearborn website, the events will be held in both English and Arabic and include an introductory presentation on the plan. Residents can visit different stations to provide feedback on plans for their districts. While registration is recommended, walk-ins are welcome. More information and registration are available at PlanDearborn.org.
Sessions will take place at various locations including the Arab American National Museum and ACCESS Gymnasium. The schedule covers different districts such as East and West Downtown, the Warren Avenue corridor, the South End, and the Fairlane Mall redevelopment area. Details on times and venues can be found on the Plan Dearborn website.
