Last Wednesday, six people—five men and one woman—were indicted on charges related to methamphetamine trafficking and illegal firearms activity. The announcement was made by U.S. Attorney Sigal Chattah for the District of Nevada. The 13-count indictment follows a yearlong investigation and lists the charges in the case, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Alex Gonzalez, also known as “Luis Carlos Caloca-Castenada;” Aaron Wolski; Richard Allen Williams, also known as “Steve Watley;” Shane Kunkle; Charles Wade McCall; and Maria Paola Ortiz-Sanchez have been indicted for conspiracy to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine between June 2024 and June 2025. Wolski and Kunkle are also charged with dealing firearms without a license, and Kunkle faces an additional charge for illegally possessing firearms due to prior felony convictions. The case was investigated through the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces program with involvement from the FBI, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, as reported by the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

A jury trial is set for August 11, in front of U.S. District Judge Gloria M. Navarro. The defendants face charges that could result in life in prison if convicted. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Joshua Brister and Tina Snellings are leading the prosecution. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court. More information about the indictment and the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces program is available on the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Nevada website.
