Brooklyn's forecast closely mirrors that of Manhattan, featuring highs of 80 today and rising to 85 by Thursday. Nights are anticipated to be mostly clear, ushering lows around 65. The borough is also bracing for a 40 percent chance of afternoon showers starting Friday, and a clearer outlook for Sunday with a high near 78.
Over in Queens, similar conditions prevail with today's clear skies managing up to 81 degrees. The night sky over Queens will stay mostly clear with, a low around 64. Residents should prepare for potential showers after 2 pm come Friday, and a 70 percent chance of rain on Saturday.
Residents of The Bronx and Staten Island will face conditions consistent with their neighboring boroughs, with highs reaching the mid-80s today and increasing cloudiness with expected showers as the week proceeds. Staten Island specifically forecasts a 30 percent chance of showers Friday night, slightly less than its fellow boroughs.
Reassuringly, the Hazardous Weather Outlook released by the National Weather Service does not indicate any expectations for severe weather that would warrant warnings or advisories within the coming days. The Outlook underscores a period of relatively mild weather, stating "No hazardous weather is expected at this time that would meet NWS warning criteria," and spotter activation is also not anticipated in the near future.
