Hampton and 46th Street at approximately 4:10 p.m. This incident resulted in four victims being shot, with a 16-year-old, a 33-year-old, and a 46-year-old sustaining non-fatal injuries. The subsequent shooting occurred near W. Hampton and 69th Street at around 4:16 p.m., according to the Milwaukee police. The shootings, taking place within a mere six minutes of one another, have stirred concern and investigation within the local community, according to details Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Witness accounts provided to WISN 12 News depicted the chaos of the scene at the 47th and Hampton intersection, where the first quadruple shooting occurred. One witness shared the harrowing moment, saying, "Everybody just started running as soon as the shots happened. Like I said, I told them, I just got out of the car, and about seven, eight shots started popping off of a small, a small handgun, nothing like a nine or anything like that, because it just wasn't that loud. But outside of that, it was just a lot of ruckus,"
No arrests have been made in connection with the two recent shootings in Milwaukee. Police are asking anyone with information to come forward to aid ongoing investigations. Both crime scenes—near a convenience store and a liquor store—have been thoroughly examined. Local news crews captured images of officers entering and exiting the locations. Authorities continue to investigate.
