Globe Life Field and Texas Live! are preparing their brine barrels for The Big Dill®, touted to be the "world’s largest pickle party," set to debut in Texas on Nov. 8. The so-called “In My Pickle Era” Tour aims to make its Texas stop a record-breaking celebration, just six days before National Pickle Day. With a following of over 1.2 million on social media, The Big Dill® has previously seen packed venues on the East Coast and now has Texas squarely in its sights, according to an announcement on the Arlington City website.

Co-founder Kevin Baxter expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "This isn’t just a festival—it’s the ultimate pickle celebration! We’re bringing the brine, the beats, and an experience Texas will never forget," according to Arlington's local news. Teaming up for the event is Best Maid Pickles, recognized as the Official Pickle of Texas, promising to present a host of their most renowned flavors at Pickle Row – where guests can indulge in samples that range from fiery habanero dills to savory bourbon-soaked brine bombs.

The festival is also serving up a hearty helping of pickle-inspired foods from top vendors, including delicacies like tangy pickle pizza and crunchy fried pickles that borrow from the legendary Texas State Fair line-up. Additionally, Wonderful Pistachios introduces its No Shells Dill Pickle flavor at the event, ensuring patrons can satisfy their craving for something both salty and crunchy. Moreover, Martin House Brewing Company is slinging their signature Best Maid Sour Pickle Beer, while adults can indulge in a selection of pickle-flavored alcoholic beverages, including a Pickle Margarita and the Original Pickle Shot.

Adding to the fermentation frenzy, The Pickle Priest, also known as Dan Castricone, will be in attendance. This internet food phenomenon, known for his uncommonly exuberant pickle blessings, is expected to draw in his substantial social following. The festival's entertainment extends to include contests, like the Brine Chug Challenge, and activities ranging from mechanical bull riding, to axe throwing to a 60-foot Ferris wheel, as described in the Arlington City announcement.
