Clark County, Nevada announced on its official social media account that construction has started on a nearly 19-mile trail connecting the northern edge of Summerlin to Blue Diamond Road. The trail will be open to both cyclists and pedestrians and will provide access to the Red Rock National Conservation Area. The project was developed with input from residents and the group Save Red Rock. It involves local, state, and federal agencies, including the Nevada Department of Transportation, U.S. Bureau of Land Management, and the Federal Highway Administration.
