Durham police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing Chapel Hill man, Charles Christopher Straughan, who was last in contact at approximately 8:15 p.m. yesterday. According to a social media post from the Durham Police Department, Straughan was reported missing and a Missing Endangered Alert has been issued in connection to his disappearance.
Straughan is identified as a 75-year-old white male, approximately 5’11” tall, weighing about 175 pounds, with gray hair. He is believed to be driving a gray Toyota 4Runner bearing North Carolina license plate H204LIFE. Authorities suspect he may be headed toward Robeson County.
Authorities are urging anyone with information on Straughan's whereabouts to immediately call 911 or reach out to Durham Police's front desk at 919-560-4427.
