A fire broke out in a storage room inside the parking garage of The Cromwell, according to viewer video obtained by FOX5 Vegas. Clark County Fire Department (CCFD) crews arrived on scene to find smoke billowing from the fourth floor at approximately 6:33 a.m.
Efforts to combat the blaze were documented in a video shared with Channel 13, which captured the urgency as firefighters worked to extinguish the flames. The CCFD confirmed that a sprinkler system had already been activated, aiding in controlling the fire before the full brigade arrived a mere four minutes after the initial dispatch call.
The prompt action of the firefighters kept the incident from escalating. No injuries were reported, and according to a statement obtained by FOX5 Vegas, some guest rooms were briefly evacuated "out of an abundance of caution." Ceasars Entertainment expressed their gratitude towards the CCFD, emphasizing the swift response that allowed for "all operations have returned to normal."
A total of 46 fire personnel responded to the scene, ensuring that the fire did not spread beyond the storage room.
