In North Las Vegas, a woman called 911 during a domestic incident, yelling, “He has a knife!” The North Las Vegas Police Department said her ex-partner assaulted her and slashed her car tires before fleeing.
The North Las Vegas Police Department responded to a domestic disturbance where the suspect had fled and discarded a weapon. During the search, K-9 Bolt, along with Officer Friedman, located the knife, assisting in the ongoing investigation.
According to the North Las Vegas Police Department on their Facebook page, K-9 Bolt “locked onto the suspect’s trail and led his partner straight to the hidden knife,” helping officers apprehend a suspect in a domestic violence case. The department stated that “You are not alone. Help is available,” urging anyone in danger to call or text 911 and to contact SafeNest at 702-646-4981 for support and safety planning.
