Accompanying Hashemi in the new cohort is Officer C. Walls, who brings his upbringing and experiences from nearby Auburn into the fold, having spent formative time in Kent, it’s a shared landscape where he seeks to forge his policing career, Walls's academic journey saw completion at Green River College, earning his associates degree while his leisure hours are often devoted to the pursuit of historical knowledge through documentaries.

The Kent Police Department continues to strengthen its team with passionate individuals rooted in the community. "Last Tuesday night, during the Kent City Council Meeting, Deputy Chief Stansfield had the honor to introduce two brand new KPD employees," the department shared on their official Facebook page. "They will now both begin the next phase of their training with seasoned officers," KPD noted.
