
The search for Madison’s next chief of police has advanced, with the City’s Police and Fire Commission (PFC) announcing three finalists. According to a PCF press release, candidate profiles and photographs have been made publicly available. The PFC is inviting community feedback and encouraging residents to submit written comments or concerns via the commission’s official email address.
Final interviews for Madison’s next police chief are scheduled for August 14 and will be conducted privately, according to the Police and Fire Commission (PFC). While the interviews will not be open to the public, a pre-recorded Q&A session featuring the finalists will be posted on the PFC website, offering residents insight into each candidate’s background and perspectives. The PFC noted that community input continues to play a role in the selection process.
Residents are encouraged to submit feedback on the police chief finalists ahead of the final selection. The Police and Fire Commission (PFC) has invited public input via email at [email protected] or during designated public comment periods at upcoming PFC meetings.
