By evening, the chance of showers and thunderstorms decreases to 20% before 8 p.m., with patchy fog expected after 3 a.m. Tonight, partly cloudy skies are forecast with lows around 69 degrees and a mild southwest wind. Dense fog patches are likely to develop overnight.
Sunday morning fog is expected to clear by 8 a.m., followed by mostly sunny skies and highs near 86 degrees. A light southeast breeze is forecast for the afternoon. Sunday night should remain partly cloudy with lows around 72 degrees.
Next week will begin with increasing heat, with highs near 91 degrees on Monday. Heat index values are expected to range between 95 and 105 degrees on Sunday and Monday, potentially continuing into Tuesday. There is a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. on both Monday and Tuesday. Showers and thunderstorms remain possible through midweek, particularly on Wednesday afternoon.
A more stable weather pattern is expected to develop by Wednesday night, with clearing skies leading to sunny conditions on Thursday and Friday and highs in the mid-70s. Southeastern Wisconsin counties, including Waukesha, Milwaukee, and Kenosha, can expect milder weather following several days of humid and unsettled conditions, according to the Hazardous Weather Outlook from the NWS.
