As temperatures rise in Sacramento, the City is offering free house calls through its Water Conservation Program to help residents reduce summer water use. The service is aimed at households using more than 500 gallons of water per day, according to the City of Sacramento.
During these visits, conservation specialists will walk through homes and properties to identify ways to reduce water use. They will assist customers in setting sprinkler timers and provide free water-saving tools. “This is a great opportunity for families that are using more than 500 gallons of water per day during the summer,” said William Granger, the City’s water conservation coordinator, as reported by the City of Sacramento.
The City of Sacramento is offering free water-saving house calls and rebate opportunities. “Customers can also get pre-qualified for one of the many water-saving rebates we offer,” said Granger. Residents can monitor daily water use on their utility bills and request services by emailing the conservation team or calling 916-808-5605.
