Miles Hudson, known for his high-speed antics in the "Belltown Hellcat," has been handed a 30-day jail sentence for reckless driving, as reported by KIRO 7. Hudson's exploits in his Dodge Charger SRT, which included risky stunts and disruptive revving in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood, earned him notoriety and, eventually, legal repercussions. Not solely confined to jail time, the 22-year-old is also required to pay a $5,000 fine, serve 24 hours of community service, and complete a defensive driving course, according to details from FOX 13 Seattle.

In the courtroom, Judge Melanie Tratnik condemned Hudson for putting profit before public safety, stating, "you did so for one reason and one reason only, which was to line your pockets by posting your extraordinarily reckless behavior on Instagram," as per The Seattle Times. Hudson's judgement also includes a social media gag order, specifically prohibiting him from discussing court affairs, or criminal activity online. Tratnik granted Hudson a 24-hour period to manage his affairs before custody, with a directive to report to court the following Tuesday.

The charges against Hudson arose from an incident widely circulated on social media, where he was seen speeding through downtown Seattle at more than four times the legal limit. A jury found him guilty of two counts of reckless driving after deliberating for less than three hours at the end of a three-day trial. The "Hellcat" was immortalized in an Instagram video, where it was caught devouring the streets at 107 mph when the area's speed limit rests at a mere 25 mph, as per The Seattle Times.
