Blake Shelton has announced eight additional shows for January 2026 as part of his residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. This follows his debut run that ended earlier this year.
The Oklahoma native will perform from January 15 through January 31, 2026, with shows scheduled for January 15, 18, 21, 23, 24, 28, 30, and 31, according to WDRM. The announcement on August 28 adds to his initial six-show run at the venue.
Shelton's enthusiasm for returning to Vegas was evident in his announcement statement. "We had so much fun earlier this year, I figured—why not do it again," KHEY Country reported him saying. "This time we're gonna do it more country, with more cocktails, and probably make a few more questionable decisions. Let's go, Vegas."
Tickets for the extended residency will be available to the general public beginning on August 28 at 10 a.m., as detailed by WGNA. This time around, Shelton has committed to eight shows at the venue, representing his growing confidence in the Vegas market.
Strategic Vegas Empire Building
Shelton's expanded residency commitment comes as part of a broader Vegas strategy that extends beyond the stage. The timing wasn't coincidental—he strategically waited to launch his residency until after establishing his Ole Red bar and restaurant, as per Music Row. The Las Vegas location of Ole Red opened in 2024, creating a year-round presence for the country star in the entertainment capital.
"The Colosseum is such an iconic venue, and I'm excited to bring some honky-tonk neon to the palace," Shelton said in an earlier statement, as stated by his Blake Shelton official website. The 4,100-seat venue at 3570 S Las Vegas Blvd has become one of the Strip's premier entertainment destinations, hosting residencies for celebrated artists including Adele, Celine Dion, and Reba McEntire.
Country Music's Growing Strip Footprint
Shelton’s additional shows come as country music expands on the Las Vegas Strip. Other artists have also added regular residencies at major venues. His initial residency earlier this year demonstrated the appeal of the intimate venue setting, offering a different performance experience than traditional touring shows. The success of these shows clearly influenced his decision to commit to an even more substantial 2026 presence, signaling both his confidence in the market and Vegas audiences' appetite for country entertainment.
