The National Weather Service in Philadelphia has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory which will remain in effect until 5 AM EDT tomorrow, cautioning residents of several counties in New Jersey and Pennsylvania of potential flooding. According to the advisory, Gloucester, Camden, and Northwestern Burlington in New Jersey as well as Delaware, Philadelphia, and Lower Bucks in Pennsylvania are expected to experience up to one foot of inundation above ground level in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways until the advisory expires.

The NWS alert urges caution, stating, "Do not leave your vehicle at a location that is prone to tidal flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flood waters." The warning indicates that even minor tidal flooding can result in road closures, often affecting the most vulnerable roadways. Additionally, driving through flood waters can pose a serious danger to individuals and inflict costly damage to vehicles.

Flood impacts have been predicted for multiple tides over the weekend with minor flooding expected at the Delaware River in Philadelphia and Burlington. The predicted tides in these areas are showing departures from normal levels that could lead to the minor flooding mentioned, such as 9.0 feet MLLW (2.3 feet MHHW) at Philadelphia and 10.0 feet MLLW (2.3 feet MHHW) at Burlington tomorrow.
