A Dearborn man is fighting for his life in critical condition after an alleged intentional hit-and-run incident. The event followed an online social media dispute which turned violently real, with authorities now piecing together the preceding threats and the consequent roadside assault.
Alfadawi, well recognized for his distinctively adorned SUV, had previously approached the Dearborn Police Department to report an alleged assault aimed at him dated August 21, which now adds a layer of premeditation to the tragic event. He was found unresponsive on the sidewalk and immediately received life-saving measures from first responders. According to CBS Detroit, after the incident, witnesses observed the SUV flee the scene, with the suspect later calling the police to admit his location and wait to be apprehended.
In what appears to be a transparent follow-through, the Dearborn Police Department arrested a 38-year-old man who claimed responsibility for the incident.
