Five individuals have been arrested in connection with a shooting in the Hemet area that involved unoccupied vehicles, according to authorities. The Riverside County Sheriff's Department responded to a call on July 19 at approximately 6:22 a.m. in the Valle Vista community where a victim reported two vehicles had been struck by gunfire, KTLA reports.

Investigation efforts led by the Hemet Sheriff’s Station and the Hemet Special Enforcement Team uncovered surveillance footage from earlier that morning, around 2:47 a.m., which displayed a white Dodge Charger in the proximity of the crime scene. The vehicle's registered owner was linked to one of the suspects, 44-year-old Stephanie White of Colton. Deputies served search warrants on August 7 at multiple residences connected to the suspects, including Stephanie and her daughter Alexis, a 26-year-old from Colton who was determined to have been in the area during the shooting and charged with aiding and abetting.

The Riverside Sheriff's Department identified additional suspects during their investigation: 18-year-old Elijah Haro and 42-year-old Edwin Alfaro. Investigators seized firearms, magazines, ammunition, and an unregistered assault rifle during the arrests. The fifth suspect, Isaiah Haro, 20, was arrested in Perris, where a search warrant led to the discovery of a semi-automatic pistol reported stolen from San Bernardino.

Isaiah Haro has been charged with shooting at an unoccupied vehicle, felony vandalism, possession of a stolen firearm, and unlawful shooting. He was booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center. Stephanie White, Edwin Alfaro, and Elijah Haro face numerous weapon-related charges andwere  booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center. The case continues to be under investigation, with authorities urging anyone with information to come forward and contact Deputy Ryan Weber at the Hemet Sheriff’s Station or Riverside Sheriff’s Dispatch.
