Ferndale residents and visitors have a new spot to satisfy their burger cravings, as Four Man Ladder Hospitality, the group behind several popular Detroit eateries, has expanded its portfolio with the opening of Little Ghost, a fast-casual burger restaurant. Situated at 22305 Woodward Avenue, the burger joint is an offshoot from the downtown Detroit restaurant Grey Ghost, known for its meat-centric menu and spirited sauces. Little Ghost pledges to keep that same spirit alive, offering a variety of burgers, sandwiches, and sides.
To primarily cater to the carryout and local delivery crowd, Little Ghost features a walk-up window and has its service tailored to be quick and convenient. To swiftly capture a significant slice of the market, the restaurant has introduced a compact menu featuring signature items such as the third-pound ghost burger, fashioned with Fairway Packing beef and adorned with ghost sauce, iceberg lettuce, and American cheese, all priced at $11. Nashville chicken sandwiches, quinoa patties for vegetarians, child-friendly options, and sweet treats like doughnut holes round out the offerings, according to The Detroit News.
The growing interest in quality, quick dining experiences might be perfectly met by Little Ghost's straightforward yet appealing menu. Their double patty version of the ghost burger, the Double Ghost Burger, is marked at $14, with sides like French fries with fancy sauce being an approachable add-on. Whether it's a classic all-beef hot dog or chicken tenders, the eatery aims to provide a variety of options to a diverse clientele. Moreover, the operating hours are designed to accommodate both lunch and dinner crowds, staying open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday, and extending to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, WXYZ reports.
The Detroit Revue has pointed out that Four Man Ladder Hospitality is stratifying its reach beyond Detroit's city limits for the first time, a notable expansion from their established venues such as Second Best in Midtown and Basan by Little Caesars Arena. As if to quickly fulfill a community's hunger for quality hamburgers, this new venture demonstrates the company's confidence in its burger expertise and its familiar offerings, like the $9 all-beef hot dog that joins a bevy of handheld favorites on Little Ghost's menu. Little Ghost represents more than a simple diner; it's an extension of a culinary philosophy that intends to blur the line between fast service and signature quality, according to Deadline Detroit.
