Frisco residents take note, as the Labor Day holiday on September 1 will bring changes to the city's service schedule. According to an announcement by the City of Frisco, all government offices, including City Hall, the Municipal Court, and other administrative bodies, will be shutting their doors for the celebration. Expect normal business operations to pick up the following day, Tuesday, September 2.
Don't forget to adjust your calendars if you're used to seeing trash and recycling bins emptied on Mondays. The city's weekly curbside services will experience a one-day delay due to the holiday. That means, if Monday is your usual pickup, your bins won't get attention until Tuesday, and the pattern follows for the rest of the week, with the usual schedule resuming on September 8.
The Environmental Services offices, along with the Environmental Collection Center, and the Household Chemical and Electronics Disposal and Reuse Center, also take a holiday leave, remaining closed on Monday, and the latter stretches its closure into Tuesday. Leisure spots in town are taking a break as well; the Frisco Fire Safety Town, including the Central Fire Administrative Offices, and the Frisco Public Library are closed for the day.
