Las Vegas experienced a power outage, leaving Kenny C. Guinn Middle School without electricity. Students have been temporarily moved to Clark High School after "damaged underground wires" caused the middle school to lose power, according to FOX5 Vegas.

The Clark County School District sent an email saying power is expected to be restored by 3:30 p.m. NV Energy crews are working to fix the issue. Principal Erin Rolfe said the relocation was enforced "In order to provide a positive and safe learning environment for our students," as reported by News 3 LV

Clark County School District said students will be temporarily redirected to Clark High School due to an issue at Guinn Middle School. Students who normally take the bus home will go from Clark High School to their regular stops. Others will be bussed back to Guinn Middle School for pickup or to start their walk home. Some delays in drop-offs and pick-ups are expected. The district said, "We thank you for your patience," and will provide updates once the issue is resolved.
