After the MSP Bomb Squad assessed the situation, a follow-up post confirmed the object was genuine and had been safely handled. According to the MSP Third District on their X account, "The MSP Bomb squad has confirmed it was a real grenade. The grenade has been removed and safely disposed of. There is no threat to the public," providing the community with an all-clear. Authorities continue to look into the origins of the grenade.
