An accident that took place in Pasadena last night critically injured a motorcyclist and left another person hospitalized. The incident occurred near Ritchie Highway and Jumpers Hole Road at around 5:40 p.m. A 2025 Kia Telluride, operated by a 56-year-old Millersville woman, was attempting to cross the lanes to turn north when it was hit by a southbound motorcycle.

The motorcycle, a 2007 Harley-Davidson, collided with the SUV as it left the Jumpers Junction parking lot, intending to cross all lanes. This attempt led to the motorcycle striking the driver’s side of the Kia, which caused the biker to cross the median and end up in the opposing lanes of traffic, according to FOX Baltimore. Afterward, the motorcycle's 30-year-old male rider, a resident of Pasadena, was airlifted with life-threatening injuries. A 26-year-old female passenger who was also on the bike at the time of impact was transported to the hospital and is stable.

WBAL TV confirms these details and adds that both the motorcyclist and his passenger were taken to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. Anne Arundel County police are still investigating the collision.

Authorities have reported that no injuries were suffered by the driver of the Kia or her two passengers — a 70-year-old man and an 88-year-old woman.
