According to a recent summary by the City of Philadelphia, participants like 16-year-old Thuan Nguyen are not only padding their wallets but are also undergoing significant personal growth—specifically in self-assuredness—with Nguyen affirming, "I used to be shy, but now I am not as reserved."
The C2L summer placements, which span across rec centers and libraries in the city, present a streamlined path to gaining real-world experience and offer more than just a paycheck, these jobs are laced with a supportive framework, key skill-building exercises, and access to mentors dedicated to the advancement of these young minds. It’s fun and prepares you for any job."
