The weather outlook for New York City's boroughs maintains a consistent theme of sunny skies and gradual temperature increases heading into next week, according to respective forecasts by the National Weather Service (NWS). Manhattan can expect a sunny high near 83 today, with similar conditions across the other boroughs. Brooklyn's high today is slightly cooler, anticipated at about 80 degrees, followed by Queens at 81, the Bronx at 82, and Staten Island also at a cooler 80 degrees.
Tonight, all boroughs share expectations of mostly clear skies, with low temperatures ranging from 65 to 67 degrees. The detailed forecast for Manhattan, obtained from NWS, suggests a low around 66. A similar weather scenario is portrayed in the forecasts for Brooklyn, Queens, and the Staten Island area.
Looking ahead, the weekend into early next week promises an uptick in temperature. A sunny Sunday high of 89 in Manhattan foreshadows Monday's further increase to 91 degrees, with the trend echoing across each borough. Bronx residents, for example, can anticipate a Sunday high of 89 degrees, as per the forecast by NWS. Such an upward trend in temperatures is a consistent pattern for the time of year in the city.
Despite the warming temperatures, the National Weather Service has not indicated any hazardous weather conditions for the area through next Tuesday. "No hazardous weather is expected at this time," states the Hazardous Weather Outlook, an assurance echoed for all nearshore and offshore waters surrounding NYC, as well as adjacent regions of Connecticut, New Jersey, and southern New York. The statement, provided by the National Weather Service New York NY, dismisses concerns for significant weather disruptions in the upcoming days.
