A warm and sunny week is expected across New York City's boroughs, with temperatures on the rise. The National Weather Service has forecast clear skies and steadily increasing highs, with Manhattan reaching 82 degrees today and climbing to around 94 degrees by Wednesday. Brooklyn is expected to follow a similar trend, with temperatures rising from 80 degrees today to approximately 92 degrees midweek.
The trend of warm and sunny weather continues across all five boroughs. Queens is forecast to see highs reaching 92 degrees, while the Bronx is expected to experience similar conditions with temperatures climbing to 93 degrees. Staten Island will also have sunny skies, with slightly cooler highs near 89 degrees by Thursday, according to the NWS.
Amid the ongoing stretch of sunny weather, the National Weather Service’s Hazardous Weather Outlook states that no hazardous conditions meeting warning criteria are expected for the New York City area. This includes, but is not limited to, Atlantic coastal waters, southern Connecticut, northeast New Jersey, and southeast New York.
While current forecasts indicate no hazardous weather and clear skies through tonight, the National Weather Service advises continued awareness, as weather conditions can shift unexpectedly.
