The City of Dublin's Communications & Marketing team has been awarded a trifecta of accolades at the City-County Communications & Marketing Association's (3CMA) annual Savvy Awards, as reported by the City of Dublin. Competing against a pool of more than 1,166 entries from jurisdictions spanning the United States and Canada, Dublin emerged as a standout among 141 finalists in Las Vegas, Nevada, securing national recognition for its government communication initiatives.

The city's weekly e-newsletter, Dublin News Now, clinched the Silver Circle award in the Digital Interactive, Electronic Newsletters category, boasting an average open rate of 49% and a subscriber base of over 15,000, representing roughly 30% of Dublin households, Digital and Brand Manager Bruce Edwards highlighted the continuous growth and trustworthiness of the newsletter saying, "We’re honored that our peers recognize the work that goes into producing this weekly e-newsletter, which delivers clear and engaging updates to our community," according to a City of Dublin interview.

In addition to the newsletter, the Dublin Rec App also received the Silver Circle award under the Marketing and Tools, Government Service Delivery/Community Issue category. The app, facilitating mobile services for community recreation programs, has seen thousands of downloads and highly simplifies the registration and engagement process for locals. “Our Rec App makes it easier than ever for residents to connect with City programs, register for activities and explore wellness opportunities,” commented Multimedia Communications Strategist Shirley Blaine in a discussion highlighted by the City of Dublin.

Moreover, the city's “My Dublin” video series received the Award of Excellence in the category of Video, Regularly Scheduled Programming, this series showcases diverse resident stories, fostering a sense of belonging and community connection, and it has amassed over 74,000 views, solid evidence of its impact, as Public Information Officer Rebecca Myers articulated, "This video series moves beyond trends and traditional talking points to truly reflect and honor the multiculturalism that is at the heart of the Dublin community," reported by The City of Dublin.
