As the Detroit Lions gear up for the 2025 season, Ford Field is introducing a variety of new culinary offerings designed to enhance the fan experience. Levy, the team's food and beverage partner, is collaborating with more than 20 local restaurants to bring a diverse selection of Detroit-inspired dishes to the stadium. Local favorites such as Cooking with Que, Breadless, and Wing Snob will be featured. Levy's executive chef, Matthew Coleman, shared his enthusiasm for incorporating neighborhood flavors into the game-day experience. "You're gonna see a lot of local restaurant groups that we partner with to bring in some neighborhood eats into the area," Coleman said in an event at Ford Field, as reported by ClickOnDetroit.
One feature of the new menu is the Spin Dash Combo, affectionately named after Lions' running back Jahmyr Gibbs. The combo includes a five-ounce smash burger decked out with mozzarella, pepperoni, pizza sauce, and pizza seasoning on a grilled bun, coupled with ring-shaped tater tots and Honolulu blue Sour Patch Kids, offered at a price of $22.99. "The burger itself is like a combination of his two favorite foods," Coleman told The Detroit News.
Another noteworthy addition is Breadless, a fresh concept emphasizing health-conscious choices such as the Spicy Falafel wrap—a blend of smashed falafel, pickled turnips, Arabic pickles, tomatoes, onions, and romaine wrapped in Swiss chard with vegan spicy aioli. Marc Howland, co-founder of Breadless, emphasized the importance of showcasing local flavor, telling The Detroit News, “When you're talking football, there aren't many home games in a year." He added, "They want to know what Detroit's all about. So having that representative class of restaurants and partners who are in Ford Field to give them a taste of Detroit is aligned with what Levy is trying to put together."
Vegan options will be available through Cooking with Que, which is offering its Vegan Mac along with other plant-based dishes. Quiana Rice, owner of Cooking with Que, noted that partnering with the Lions marks an important development for the business. “Imagine being here hungry, and now you’re here and you get to serve the food that you've been telling everybody that was so good to try," she said in an interview with ClickOnDetroit.
Rounding out the food offerings, Bombshell Treat Bar will serve ice cream bars in flavors such as roar-berry, sweet and salty, and s’mores, topped with edible glitter. For younger fans, kid-friendly meal options will also be available, including chicken tenders or a turkey sandwich paired with a variety of healthy sides, according to coverage by MLive.
