Authorities in Harris County have apprehended an alleged burglary crew following a tip about suspicious activity. On Wednesday, deputies responded to a call concerning individuals peering into vehicles in the area of FM 1960 Road West, which led to a traffic stop where five men were detained. Among them, Malik Perry, Donnell Williams, and Zachariah Alcin were arrested while the two juveniles accompanying them were later released, Harris County Constable Precinct 4 reported.

Initial observations and a subsequent investigation by the deputies on the scene deduced the presence of a Jeep linked to the suspects, which was found departing from the location where the illegal activities were noticed, and a handgun was discovered in the possession of the suspect Zachariah Alcin after he, along with the others, were read their Miranda rights and a confession was secured. Furthermore, officials found two vehicles on the property that had sustained damage with broken windows, bolstering their allegations of the group's intent and actions, according to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.

In a statement obtained by the Constable Mark Herman's Office Facebook page, the suspects face charges for Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and Burglary of a Vehicle. The courts have set bonds for the adult suspects with Malik Perry's at $5,100.00, issued by the 178th District Court and County Court 4, and Zachariah Alcin's bond set at $15,100.00 by the 179th District Court and County Court 7; Donnell Williams is currently awaiting bond determination from the 178th District Court.
