Presented by Hillsborough County Parks & Recreation, the occasion promises to fill the Barksdale Senior Center with both the fanfare of an opening ceremony and the diverse talents of its participants come 10 a.m. According to Hillsborough County's official announcement, the talent show will commence at 10:30 a.m., immediately following the ceremonial start. This year's festivities continue an enduring tradition that took root in the 1980s, illustrating, the enduring vibrancy of the senior community.
Athletes and amateurs alike will find their niche in a broad slate of events spanning the athletic spectrum from track and field, shuffleboard, to the more nuanced finesse required in billiards and horseshoes.
