Houston police are asking for public help to identify a suspect in the fatal shooting of 44-year-old Terry Clark at 6633 West Airport Boulevard on January 29, 2019. One suspect, Trevon Demitri Lewis, has been arrested, and the investigation now focuses on finding a second man believed to be involved, according to the City of Houston.
The Houston Police Department is looking for a second suspect, whose identity is unknown, after 28-year-old Lewis was arrested and charged. A surveillance photo of the suspect, described as a black male about five feet nine inches tall and weighing 150–160 pounds, has been released in a plea for public cooperation. Witnesses heard gunshots around 12:30 a.m., and two black males were seen leaving Clark's apartment in a white SUV. The image and information from the Homicide Division may help in the investigation of a case that has lasted more than six years, as reported by the City of Houston.
Lewis was charged with murder in the 337th Criminal District Court last Thursday and arrested by the HPD South Gessner Patrol Division’s Crime Suppression Team and the U.S. Marshals Service. His booking photo has been released. The second suspect is still at large. The HPD Homicide Division, led by Sergeant C. Duncan and Detectives T. Tyler, S. Spivey, and R. Pemberton, is investigating. Anyone with information can call 713-308-3600 or submit anonymous tips to Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS, as stated by the City of Houston.
