The suspect, who has a history of felony convictions, is accused of assaulting a 40-year-old man on the evening near the intersection of 12th Avenue South and South King Street.
Officers were dispatched around 5:30 p.m. in response to the incident and found the victim, who was reported to have multiple stab wounds in the abdomen. The Seattle Fire Department rendered emergency medical attention before transporting the injured man to Harborview Medical Center, where he was said to be in serious condition.

However, officers arrested him shortly after near Rainier Avenue South and South Bayview Street, as detailed by the Seattle Police Department.
An officer recovered a knife from the suspect's waistband following a brief chase through northbound traffic lanes. He was subsequently booked into the King County Jail for felony assault, as per the SPD.
