The Milwaukee Police Department is intensifying its search for a suspect involved in a recent shooting that sent shockwaves through the community earlier this month. In a situation that plays far too often in our cities, a call is out to the public for help in tracking down an individual described as an African American male, around 40 to 50 years old. This case stems from an incident that took place on September 17, around the tail end of the day's slow march toward night, specifically at 5:50 p.m.
Last seen on the 2600 block of N. 34th St, the described suspect is about 5'10", weighing between 160 - 170 lbs, with a medium build. Running away after firing shots, he left behind not just the physicality of his crime but a portrait of himself, characterized by a full beard and mustache that refrains from meeting above his lip's midsection—his head graced with low hair or perhaps baldness. He wore a blue ensemble that day, a shirt and pants of the same color, with a black nylon waist holster carrying a black and silver handgun, as detailed by the Milwaukee Police Department's post.
Law enforcement officials urge anyone with information who may have witnessed the suspect or knows of his whereabouts to step forward and speak up. Contributing to this critical juncture could offer the breakthrough investigators need. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Milwaukee Police at (414) 935-7360 or to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at (414) 224-Tips or P3 Tips.
