The North Las Vegas Police Department Traffic Division has been targeted by gunfire for the second time in one week, raising concerns about safety and prompting a law enforcement investigation into the incidents. Last night, just before 7 p.m., officers inside the Traffic Division building, located at 6445 North Palmer Street, heard a series of gunshots which led to a prompt response and investigation at the scene.
According to a report by 8 News Now, the officers emerged from the building to find the south side of the structure had been hit multiple times with gunfire. In response to this attack, additional officers were dispatched and a section of Centennial Parkway, extending from Pecos Road to Statz Street, was shut down to assist in the investigation.
