New Yorkers can expect a mostly sunny week ahead with mild temperatures, according to recent reports from the National Weather Service. Manhattanites will see a high near 82 degrees today under mostly cloudy skies, with a forecasted drop to around 55 degrees tonight as it gradually becomes clear. The rest of the week looks to offer plenty of sun with highs mostly in the 60s and 70s, as stated on NWS for Manhattan.
Similarly, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island all anticipate a week with clear skies and sunshine, with today's temperatures hovering around the low 80s and evening lows dipping into the mid-50s. Not to be outdone, the Bronx is preparing for pleasant weather, showing a consistent pattern of sunny days and mostly clear nights, with temperatures gently cresting to highs near 80 and lows in the lower 50s, a condition further echoed by the forecasts for adjacent boroughs, as corroborated by weather reports issued for Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, and Staten Island.
Despite the welcoming forecast, the National Weather Service has also issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the region. While no dangerous weather is expected today or in the upcoming days through Monday, conditions are constantly monitored for changes. As far as the seas are concerned, boaters in the Atlantic coastal waters, including Long Island Sound and New York Harbor, are also clear of any immediate hazards, which is a relief for local fishermen and tourists alike.
