Three women are facing federal charges after allegedly targeting an ICE agent by following him from his place of work to his home and sharing his personal address on social media, as announced by the Department of Justice. Cynthia Raygoza, 37, of Riverside; Ashleigh Brown, 38, of Aurora, Colorado; and Sandra Carmona Samane, 25, of Panaroma City have been indicted on charges of conspiracy and the unlawful public disclosure of a federal agent's personal information, actions described by acting U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli as "deeply offensive to law enforcement officers and their families," according to the U.S. Attorney's Office, Central District of California.
On August 28, it is alleged that the women broadcast a live video as they followed a federal agent from downtown Los Angeles to his residence, encouraging viewers to share the stream. Upon arriving at the agent's home, they reportedly shouted comments to nearby individuals and told their Instagram livestream audience, "La migra lives here," as per the U.S. Attorney's Office, Central District of California. They also allegedly disclosed the agent’s home address and urged viewers to "come on down." Brown is facing an additional charge in a separate case for allegedly assaulting a federal officer. While she remains in custody without bond, Samane has been released on a $5,000 bond, and authorities are still searching for Raygoza.
Both Brown and Samane have had their arrest warrants executed, with arraignments scheduled for September 30 and October 9, respectively. Meanwhile, a manhunt continues for Raygoza. Investigators and prosecutors, led by Assistant United States Attorneys Thi Hoang Ho and Neil P. Thakor of the General Crimes Section, are pursuing what is described as a serious violation of the safety of a federal law enforcement officer and his family. However, the indictment reiterates the presumption of innocence until proven guilty in court.
