The Arlington County Police Department is calling on residents to participate in their Fall 2025 quarterly community meetings. According to an announcement on the ACPD website, these forums aim to address local issues, from scam awareness to holiday shopping security, and provide a platform for residents to raise any concerns and questions.
Sergeant A. Barnickle and Corporal R. Williams from ACPD will be spearheading a retail theft presentation. The department is encouraging community members to bring forward their questions by submitting them through ACPD's Quarterly Community Meeting Question Form at least three business days before the meetings. As the holiday season draws near, attendees are invited to bring new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages to assist in the department's '2025 Fill the Cruiser Holiday Toy Drive.'
The ACPD meetings are scheduled for November 12 and 13, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with both in-person and virtual attendance options. The November 12 session will be held at The Rosslyn BID, within reach of public transit routes and the Rosslyn Metro Station. The following day's meeting, an in-person event, unfolds within the walls of Amazon HQ2, strategically placed near the Crystal City Metro Station. For those who prefer the digital route, links for virtual attendance can be found on the ACPD's social channels.
This community engagement initiative is part of a broader effort by the ACPD to connect with residents and address safety and quality of life in the Arlington area. For those looking to stay in the loop, the ACPD offers monthly newsletters that detail the department's programs and events. Additional information can be found on the ACPD engage page for those interested in more ways to participate in community-oriented activities with the police department.
