Tampa residents can look forward to an engaging afternoon as best-selling author Mary Roach visits the New Tampa Performing Arts Center on November 1 to discuss her book “Fuzz: When Nature Breaks the Law.” The event, hosted by the Hillsborough County Public Library, begins at 1:30 p.m. and will cover Roach’s examination of the connection between human and wildlife behavior.
Ahead of the author talk, select libraries across the county will host book discussion groups focused on Roach’s work. These sessions will give readers a chance to learn how science and law address unusual interactions between humans and wildlife, according to the Hillsborough County.
Referred to by The Washington Post as "America's funniest science writer," Mary Roach will discuss her book on the legal and scientific aspects of human-wildlife interactions at an upcoming library-hosted event. Reading groups are scheduled before the talk to let participants explore the book’s themes and prepare questions for the author, as reported by the Hillsborough County.
