A Del Rio police detective's career came to an ignominious end as he was indicted on serious charges relating to child sexual abuse. Joshua Garcia, who served as a detective for Del Rio PD, was thrust into the harsh glare of scrutiny after explicit images of an underage girl surfaced on his personal cellphone, according to KSAT.
The troubling allegations against Garcia first emerged in April, initiating an internal investigation that saw him placed on administrative leave, amid claims he was involved in an inappropriate sexual relationship with a girl who was younger than 17.
