A man was arrested at a Walmart in Harris County on accusations of surreptitiously recording under a woman's dress, officials said. The suspect, identified as Jesus Guerrero, was detained by Walmart loss prevention after a witness noticed him using his cell phone to film underneath the clothing of an unsuspecting female shopper as she reached for an item on a shelf.
The incident occurred yesterday, when Deputy Castilow of Constable Mark Herman's Office was called to the scene at the Walmart situated at the 25800 block of Kuykendahl Road, MUD 19. The witness took immediate action to confront Guerrero and secured his phone before alerting Walmart security. Upon Guerrero's admission of his actions to authorities, he revealed that he had taken similar videos of approximately 15 other people that day, using them for personal gratification and selling them online.
According to the Precinct 4 Facebook page, Constable Mark Herman stated, "Jesus Guerrero was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Invasive Visual Recording." The bond and court details for Guerrero have not yet been established at this time.
Investigators secured the suspect's cell phone, which will undergo forensic analysis by the High-Tech Crimes Unit. Surveillance footage provided by Walmart supports the witness's account, as confirmed by the Constable's Office.
