
Authorities in Southeast Houston are searching for an armed suspect connected to two aggravated robberies this month. The first occurred late on October 14 at a fast-food restaurant on the 5700 block of Bellfort, where the suspect broke in, threatened an employee with a handgun, and stole money from the register, according to the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division.
The second robbery occurred early on October 19 at a convenience store on the 8000 block of Martin Luther King. The suspect, again armed, forced a clerk back inside the store, took cash and personal items, and fled on foot, as reported by the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division.
Houston police are investigating a series of robberies and are looking for a Black or Hispanic male suspect, described as being in his late 20s to early 30s, 5’9”–6’0” tall, with a medium complexion. During the incidents, the suspect reportedly wore a black long-sleeve hoodie, black pants, and a ski mask. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers of Houston anonymously by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477), visiting the organization’s website, or using its mobile app. Tips that lead to the suspect’s arrest or charging may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000, as stated by the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division.
