The Michelin Guide released its latest Texas rankings at the Wortham Theater Center, with Houston restaurants maintaining their existing Michelin stars. According to Houston Eater, the one-star list included BCN Taste & Tradition, Corkscrew BBQ, Le Jardinier, March, Musaafer, and Tatemó, all of which retained their status from the previous year. No new restaurants in Houston received Michelin stars in this edition.

Houston’s Michelin recognitions remained unchanged this year, with no Texas restaurants receiving two or three stars. Elliot Wood of Credence received the Michelin Outstanding Service Award, stating, “Credence is the stories of Texas through the lens of live fire, and this is definitely a team award as well," as reported by Houston Chronicle. In the Bib Gourmand category, newcomers Annam, ChòpnBlọk, da Gama Canteen, Maximo, and Papalo Taqueria were recognized for offering "good quality food for a good value," joining 22 returning local restaurants including Killen’s, Nancy's Hustle, and Tejas Chocolate, as per Houston Eater.

Sixteen Houston restaurants were recognized in the Michelin Guide’s Recommended category, which recognizes "high quality dining," including nine new selections such as Agnes and Sherman and The Marigold Club, alongside returning honorees like Bludorn and Pappas Bros, as detailed by Houston Chronicle. Houston’s existing Michelin-starred restaurants retained their stars, while Texas now has a total of 18 starred establishments, covering a range of cuisines from barbecue to Mediterranean.
