A Kenosha man faces serious charges after prosecutors say he used social media to issue threats against federal agents. Andrew Stanton, 38, has been indicted on counts that include threats to assault, kidnap, or murder a U.S. official, according to Chicago Music Guide. He is currently held at Kenosha County Jail as the case moves forward in federal court.

Stanton's actions came to light after a series of TikTok videos and texts where he made disturbing statements. In a video posted on August 29, Stanton said, "We’re not getting through to them (politicians) with using our words. That’s never gonna happen. You have to use bullets," as noted in court documents obtained by JSOnline. He reportedly sought the whereabouts of Israeli military members in the Illinois and Wisconsin area and expressed support for violent actions against state entities.

The situation escalated with Stanton allegedly posting explicit threats. "If ICE shows up to your neighborhood, I'm sorry, I'm just going to say it. It's time to start (expletive) shooting at them," he stated in one of the TikTok videos, as reported by WISN 12 News

Authorities had made attempts to reach Stanton on September 5 and 9, but to no avail. The indictment comes after an extensive investigation by federal agencies into Stanton's social media activity, which included remarks that glorified violence. "When there are mass shootings, they are successful. People die, and people are terrorized. You can apply that to other people. Federal agents," Stanton purportedly said in a video, according to a federal criminal complaint cited by WISN 12 News.
