Staten Island is forecast to reach a high near 65 with breezy conditions. Queens is also expected to experience rainy weather on Sunday, accompanied by breezy, gusting winds.
The Bronx may see slightly cooler conditions with a high near 67 today and an increased chance of rain late tonight. A Hazardous Weather Outlook has also been issued for New York City and surrounding areas, with a special emphasis on coastal flood warnings and high wind watches from Sunday afternoon through Monday.
While today is not expected to bring immediate weather hazards, the upcoming week warrants attention due to forecasted severe conditions. Southern Westchester and The Bronx are under a coastal flood warning from Sunday afternoon through Monday evening, signaling potential impacts along shorelines and low-lying areas.
Northeastern boroughs such as Northern Queens and Northwest Suffolk are also under advisories for high winds and coastal flooding during the same period. Staten Island and Southern Queens face similar alerts, reflecting the storm’s widespread reach across the region. Maritime areas are also affected, with storm and gale warnings issued for coastal waters and New York Harbor from Sunday morning through Monday, indicating rough conditions at sea.
