
North Las Vegas is welcoming autumn with a series of festive events that cater to every age and interest, ranging from the whimsical Viva Pumpkin Patch to educational crafting sessions, each designed to capture the essence of the season. Residents and visitors looking for family-friendly fun can head to Craig Ranch Regional Park at 628 W. Craig Rd., where the Viva Pumpkin Patch will be open Wednesdays through Fridays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and weekends from noon until 9 p.m. up until Halloween night, according to the city's official announcement.
On October 24, the aquatic-themed Spooky Splash event will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. at Silver Mesa Pool, located at 4095 Allen Ln. The event will offer swimmers a spooky twist on their regular swim sessions with various Halloween-themed activities. In parallel, the Harvest Fest featuring Trunk or Treat will offer children a safe environment to collect candy, and partake in fall festivities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Neighborhood Recreation Center, 1638 N. Bruce St. Also on the same day, pet lovers can bring their furry friends to Paws in the Park, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Aliante Nature Discovery Park, 2627 Nature Park Dr., for a celebration of pets within the community.
For the creatively inclined, the City Hall Library at 2250 Las Vegas Blvd. N will host a Kids Crafting Corner on October 27. Between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m., children will be able to explore their artistic side by crafting coffins and clay monsters. The library will also serve as the venue for a Day of the Dead: Sugar Skulls crafting event on October 30, from 5 to 6 p.m., offering an opportunity to engage with the traditional iconography associated with this culturally rich observance.
The series of events culminates on Halloween night, October 31, with a Trunk or Treat Halloween Carnival, scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m., back at the Craig Ranch Regional Park, as detailed by the City of North Las Vegas.
