North Ridgeville residents should prepare for roadwork on Chestnut Ridge Road, slated to start early tomorrow morning. The City of North Ridgeville Government announced that milling operations will begin at 7:00 a.m. Tomorrow, October 15, stretching from the roundabout to the western city limits. The work on the road is expected to cause closures, affecting the daily commute for those who travel that stretch.
While the milling process is scheduled to be completed within one day, paving dates will be confirmed at a later time. In the announcement, the local government noted that although the road will be closed to through traffic, it will remain accessible to locals. With the milling expected to be completed in one day, residents are advised to plan their routes accordingly.
Commuters should note that, despite the roadwork, emergency vehicles and school buses will still be permitted through the construction zone. The city has advised residents to follow detour signs and seek alternate routes, if possible, to minimize delays and ensure safety for both workers and commuters.
Residents of North Ridgeville and nearby communities have been encouraged to stay informed about the roadwork and have been promised up-to-date information as the project progresses. By conducting milling and paving in stages, the city aims to minimize inconvenience and maintain traffic flow whenever possible. The City of North Ridgeville Government has assured that "milling the roadway in preparation for paving will be completed in one day," anticipating that this step will pave the way for a smoother ride in the future.
