
Maryland State Police are actively requesting public aid in the aftermath of a fatal encounter in Salisbury, where, early on an October morning, a man's life was claimed, a bleeding truth laid bare on the streets of East Main, according to state police reports. The victim, identified as Kem’mon La’Austin Walker, 27, of Eden, met a violent end and was later pronounced dead at TidalHealth Hospital.
Incident details furtively slip through the crackling static of a dispatcher’s voice, dating back the the incident date that officers arriving at the site found Walker wounded, where a blade had whispered death amidst a reported fight, and as dawn echoes a city’s mourning, the stillness is pierced by calls for locating Carlus Dupree Gerald Jr., 35, of Salisbury, a man known now less for his name than the warrant bearing his identity for second-degree murder among other charges.
The Maryland State Police is urging anyone with information about Gerald’s whereabouts to call 443-298-9447, hoping someone will help bring justice and answers to the community.
