A deadly shooting at a West Side gas station has led to murder charges against 40-year-old Richardo Michael Haymon. The incident, which occurred before dawn at the Quick Stuff on Historic Old Highway 90, resulted in the death of Ricardo Contreras following a confrontation over Haymon's ex-girlfriend. Contreras was found by officers, lying with a gunshot wound to the head in front of the Quick Stuff convenience store, as stated in the arrest affidavit. Searching the scene, the police discovered multiple bullet casings and a nearby vehicle, riddled with bullets, suggested to be Contreras' car.
