Law enforcement agencies in southern Washington County conducted a joint operation that led to multiple arrests and charges. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the Washington County Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Unit, and the Germantown Police Department carried out the criminal interdiction operation on Wednesday evening, focusing on traffic corridors known for illegal activity.

According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office's Facebook post, officers conducted 105 traffic stops, resulting in eight felony charges, six misdemeanor charges, and three warrant arrests.

One incident involved a 29-year-old Milwaukee woman who attempted to flee police but was stopped using tire deflation devices and a PIT maneuver. She now faces multiple charges, including fleeing and bail jumping. In another case, a 40-year-old man from De Pere was arrested after officers found cocaine, a cocaine/fentanyl mixture, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia in his vehicle following a registration violation stop. He was charged with several drug-related offenses and bail jumping.

Germantown Police also made several arrests for drug possession and outstanding warrants. In one case, a driver was arrested for possessing methamphetamine and THC, while another driver was charged with possession of cocaine and paraphernalia after being found with a concealed crack cocaine rock. Another traffic stop led to the arrest of a passenger wanted on an active Community Corrections warrant.

Sheriff Martin R. Schulteis acknowledged the cooperation between the agencies and emphasized the importance of continued enforcement efforts to address criminal activity in Washington County.
