A peculiar sight in Baltimore County has garnered considerable attention as a deer was observed with a plastic pumpkin bucket encasing its nose and mouth. This unusual occurrence has prompted both community concern and concerted rescue efforts. According to a report by WMAR-2 News, the deer, seen in Parkville, has been carrying its unwanted accessory for approximately five days, raising worries that it might be unable to eat or drink.

In response to the situation, Bob Swensen from First Response Drone Pet Search and Rescue has taken to the skies to search for the animal using a thermal drone camera. Swensen intends to hopefully catch the deer and remove the container restricting it from sustaining itself properly. As per CBS News, Joy Mays and Patrick Lynch, residents of the Carney-Parkville community, were among the first to notice the deer. "It's got this silly bucket, and its eyes are like a little bucket. Help me," Mays articulated the deer's plight.

The situation also elicited a response from Maryland's Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Wildlife and Heritage Service, which has attempted to locate and assist the deer on multiple occasions, albeit with difficulty due to the animal's mobility.

They urge anyone who encounters distressed wildlife to refrain from approaching and instead report it to the provided helpline.
